A useful introduction to some of the Publishers in the LinkShare UK network


Forging new partnerships is essential to the growth of your affiliate program. This month we feature some great publishers in the UK network. Click here to learn more about these publishers

NEW FEATURE
YEAR-OVER-YEAR REPORTING
Over the last year we've introduced several reporting enhancements to rave reviews from Advertisers and we continue add new features in this area as we collect additional feedback from customers.

Now we are pleased to announce a few additional enhancements related to year-over-year reporting that Affiliate Managers will appreciate. Now when you run a Sales & Activity report you will notice additional columns reflecting prior year data as well as columns for the corresponding YOY percentage change for the following:
  • Clicks
  • Orders
  • Orders/Click
  • AOV
You will also notice additional YOY data in the summary table at the top of the report as well. Understanding YOY data is key to understanding the success of your program. Especially for those Advertisers running their own program we hope this information proves valuable in the future and saves you time by not having to do these calculations manually.

Important note: If your technical or business analyst team is using the Sales & Activity report as input to other systems be sure to make them aware of these new columns to ensure any custom reporting tools you may have are working optimally.

TIP OF THE MONTH
CUSTOMIZING AUTO-REPLY EMAILS
Auto-reply Email is automatically sent to publishers when you accept them into your program, extend them a Private Offer, remove them from your program, and on other occasions.

You have the ability to customize your auto-reply emails at any time. It is also important to review these emails from time to time to ensure that the messages are relevant and up-to-date.

To review and edit simply select: Messaging >> Auto-Reply Emails. Once there select the email you want to review and edit from the drop-down list.

Communications are a key part of maintaining good relationships with your Publishers! Make sure these emails are always reflecting the right message for your audience.

Consumers wait "as long as it takes" for online deals – New Media Age 15.09.11
Almost three quarters (74%) of consumers will wait "as long as it takes" to get the best deal online, according to research from affiliate network LinkShare. The research also showed that the ‘Information Shopper’ doesn’t stop once the purchase has been made, 40% of consumers continued to monitor the product they had just bought to ensure they got value for money.
