NEW: Campaign Manager (BETA)
|
|
This new feature allows you to create campaigns around your consumer offers and promotions. Using the Campaign Manager, you can now group banners, text links, dynamic rich media, and individual product links by a common theme, such as Halloween or Holiday Sale. In addition, you will be able to add descriptive attributes that give your publishers details about your specific campaigns. This will make it easier for your publishers to understand your promotions, and do the best job promoting them. |
To set up a campaign, follow the steps below:
1. Select Campaign Manager
2. Select Create New Campaign
3. Create a Name for campaign
4. Select a start and end date
5. Enter your campaign info
a) Offer: Benefit to consumers
b) Offer condition: Any limitations to the offer
c) Offer details: description
6. Select “Rotate” if you’d like publishers to be able to randomly display banner creative associated with that campaign. (All banner creative will have to be of the same size and be LinkShare served.)
7. Use Asset Management to add creative to your campaign |
Manual
Cancellation Tool within the Account Transactions Section |
Cancellations
could only be uploaded using LSTrans functionality. |
LinkShare now offers advertisers the option to submit cancellations manually through the interface. Cancellations can be processed individually or in batch form. A cancellation to an entire order, or part of an order, will appear in both publishers' and advertisers' online reporting by the following day. Automated cancellations are still the preferred way of reporting. The manual cancellation tool provides an alternate means to keep cancellation reporting up-to-date and accurate. |
To use this new tool, follow the steps below:
1. Go to Transactions under the Account Tab in the interface and select Manual Cancellations.
2. Enter the order information in the required fields (Order ID, Affiliate ID, Amount, Reason).
Please note: Cancellation reports must be transmitted to LinkShare within 90 days from when the original transaction is reported (varies for Lead Generation advertisers).
