Viewing Publisher Statistics
To manage your program effectively, it is important to keep track of your Publishers’ statistics on a regular basis. Here are the steps to view general statistics about the Publishers in your program:
- In the Affiliate area of the Advertiser Homepage, click Affiliate Management.
- Click on Network Statistics & Charts at the top of the page. Note: all statistics on this page are updated on a nightly basis.
This page gives you a top-level view of your Publishers and includes the following information (all numbers are cumulative since the inception of your program):
Total Publisher Applications - Indicates the total number of unique Publishers who have applied to your program. This includes all the Publishers you approved and rejected, those awaiting approval, and those from Publishers you have removed, temporarily or permanently.
Total Approved Affiliates - Indicates the total number of Publishers who are currently participating in your program. This number does not include any Publisher accounts that are no longer live.
- Through LinkShare - Indicates the total number of Publishers currently participating in your program who originally applied through the LinkShare network.
- Through Advertiser - Indicates the total number of Publishers currently participating in your program who originally applied through your customized registration page.
Total Awaiting Approval - Indicates the total number of Publishers who applied to your program and are currently awaiting your review for approval or rejection.
Total Rejected Publishers - Indicates the total number of Publisher applications that have been rejected. This number does not include any Publisher accounts that are no longer live.
- Total Temporary Rejections - Indicates the total number of Publisher applications you have temporarily rejected. If the Publisher subsequently re-applies to your program, they will no longer be counted in this total.
- Total Permanent Rejections - Indicates the total number of Publisher applications that are permanently rejected. The Publisher will not be allowed to re-apply to your program.
Note: When you permanently decline a Publisher, LinkShare uses the Publisher's ID number as a reference to keep the Publisher from re-applying; keep in mind that a Publisher might try to re-apply via a new account.
Total Removed Publishers - Indicates the total number of Publisher applications that were approved, and then subsequently removed from your program. Note that this number does not include any Publisher accounts that are no longer live.
- Total Temporary Removals - Indicates the total number of Publisher applications that were approved, and then subsequently temporarily removed from your program. Note that if the Publisher subsequently re-applies for your program, the Publisher will no longer be counted in this number.
- Total Permanent Removals - Indicates the total number of Publisher applications that were approved, and then subsequently permanently removed from your program. The Publisher will not be allowed to re-apply to your program.
- Total Self-Removals - Indicates the total number of Publisher applications you approved and later the Publisher withdrew from your program. If the Publisher re-applies for your program in the future, they will no longer be counted in this number.
Tip: Click on the headings (Total Publishers, Total Awaiting Approval, and so on) to see the names and profiles of the Publishers included in those groups. Please keep in mind, however, that the more Publishers you have in your program, the longer this process will take.
