Announcing the New Content Spider!

On May 12th we released a new Content Spider in the advertiser interface. The Content Spider “crawls” your Publisher network and allows you to search for keywords across your partner sites. Three key uses of the Content Spider are for:
- Compliance – enforce your brand guidelines
- Identify Questionable Content – make sure your ads are not appearing near offensive and questionable content
- Targeting Tool – find targeted partners to push out select offers and promotions
Where you’ll find the Spider in the interface:
Here are a few of the changes from the previous Content Spider:
- Get Instant Results on the makeup of your Publisher network. In the previous version of our Spider you were asked to schedule a spider to run and then received the results via e-mail. Now you will be able to get results and download into a spreadsheet instantly.

Deeper search. The new spider searches more pages on more publishers’ sites.
- Search by Performance Criteria, for example only publishers with more than $100 in sales for the month

Please note that you will no longer be receiving emails that you’ve scheduled using the old Content Spider. However, these will appear as Saved Searches in the new Content Spider.
View Participating Affiliates in Special Offers
Now, you can easily see which affiliates are participating in a special offer by going to the Special Offer page in the calendar and clicking on ‘See Participating Affiliates’. Previously this functionality was only available for Private Offers.
