LINKSHARE DEVELOPER CONTEST | MAY 2008

This year LinkShare is running our first ever Developer Contest!  We’re encouraging innovative applications of our Web Service API’s and asking Publishers to tell us about their programming tricks and achievements.  One lucky winner will be awarded the Technology Genius Award at the 2008 LinkShare Golden Link Awards!

LinkShare Web Services include the Merchandiser Query API, Link Locator Direct, and Automated LinkGenerator.
 
1. LinkLocator Direct I allows Developers to download a list of promotional ads, like banners.
2. LinkLocator Direct II allows Developers to download a list of any of the ads available to link to a Web site.
3. Merchandiser Query tool allows Developers to query for links to products using a keyword search.
4. Automated LinkGenerator allows Developers to build deep links to any product page on the Advertiser website.

Publishers have built product widgets, Facebook applications, iGoogle gadgets, and more using our flexible and dynamic web services.
