PUBLISHER SPOTLIGHTS

A useful introduction to some of the Publishers in the LinkShare UK network

Forging new partnerships is essential to the growth of your affiliate program. This month we feature some great publishers in the UK network. Click here to learn more about these publishers

ADVERTISER DASHBOARD SPOTLIGHT
Executive Reports | New Enhancements!
Last month we introduced a new reporting feature called Executive Reports. Accessible from the main menu of the Advertiser Dashboard, Executive Reports are similar to quick stats on the Home Page but they give you a view into even more data points including order active Publishers, non-commissionable sales, and cancellations. This month we've added even more charts to help you stay in tune with the Publishers that are driving revenue for your program. You'll now see trend charts titled Publisher Activity and Publisher Increases which show the year over year performance of your top Publishers. There is also the Publisher Decreases chart which can help you identify those Publishers that may need some additional incentives or help promoting your program offers. Login and check out Executive Reports today.

Trends in Affiliate Marketing and Consumer Spending
Guest comment: Mobile- A golden channel for marketers – Netimperative 16.06.11
Liane Dietrich, UK MD of affiliate network, LinkShare discusses the growth in mobile and explains how marketers should best capitalise on the mobile shopping boom. Mobile is the latest buzzword hitting the marketing scene. Barely a day goes past without a new story popping up about the accelerated growth of the mobile platform, from smartphones to tablets, as both an indispensible sales and marketing platform.

The case for two-tier affiliate marketing – Econsultancy 10.06.11
Does the "traditional" affiliate model still have a place? In this article, I'll be highlighting the case for a two–tier approach to running an affiliate campaign. It is now 11 years since the emergence of affiliate marketing in the UK, and there is no doubt that the channel has evolved considerably in that time. In fact, I would argue that it has moved from being a self-contained channel to the situation we now have where "affiliate marketing" is just a catch all term for CPA based performance activity that happens through an affiliate network.

Why changing lifestyles equal changing shopping habits – UtalkMarketing 06.06.11
Lifestyles are changing. Social interaction's changing. Attitudes are changing. And shopping behaviour is changing. We are now only ever a quick click away from making a purchase. Shopping online is both convenient and compelling, and as a result it's growing fast. Indeed the boom in internet shopping has tripled the fortunes of the founders of Boden and Asos, and the Sunday Times Rich List just published the first British digital billionaire; Charles Dunstone, the founder of Carphone Warehouse and TalkTalk. Did you know that 41% of consumers surveyed who plan to buy an iPad cited online shopping as a primary reason?

Keeping track of a customer's retail journey – Marketing Week 02.06.11
The electronic footprint left behind by a new generation of voucher users is allowing brands to build a clear picture of their customers and better target offers. Everyone likes a deal. And the promise of free money is just too good to pass up. Which might explain why the voucher industry is enjoying its best ever results, up more than 15% year–on–year in the first quarter of 2011, at a time when the British Retail Consortium has reported the slowest retail growth in 16 years.

Affiliate network LinkShare springs into 2011 with double digit growth in Q1 and a raft of new customer wins – Econsultancy 02.06.11
Affiliate marketing network, LinkShare has announced a 34 percent growth year–over–year same–store sales in the first quarter for its UK network of advertisers and publishers, significantly outpacing overall e–commerce growth in the UK. According to the IMRG Cap Gemini Sales Index, saw UK online sales increase by 18 percent in the first quarter.
