Symposium East 2010 will take place Tuesday, June 22, 2010 in New York City. For more than ten years, LinkShare Advertisers, Publishers, and leading companies have convened at the LinkShare Symposium to strengthen business relationships and discuss issues facing the Affiliate Marketing industry.

New at LinkShare Symposium East 2010
To help make connecting that much easier, LinkShare is pleased to announce that we will be mapping each room at Symposium for meetings. Each room will be broken into 3 regions: A, B, & C. Each Advertiser will be assigned a region to focus their meetings in. Maps will be available outlining each location and there will also be signage at each spot. Be sure to ask your account manager which location is your designated area.
Come prepared
With one day to make as many connections, leads, and deals as possible, you need to be ready. Understand in advance the types of companies you want to meet, the type of offers you can commit to, and the levels of commission you can extend. Plan meetings with key partners before the event, and have data about their specific program ahead of time. We suggest knowing GMS for that partner from’08 and ’09 and the % increase. Knowing your program backward and forward will help you save valuable time, and the Publishers will also appreciate your efficiency. We also recommend printing customized business cards or fact sheets before the event with all the important details of your program.

Wear comfortable shoes, bring business cards, meet new people, and have fun!
Finally, if you cannot attend – there are ways to promote your company and your affiliate LinkShare program to the hundreds of partners who will be in attendance. Use your LinkShare Account Manager as an advocate.
