Create Links: Updating the create links page every so often with new and notable promotions can help your program stand out to publishers. From the create links page advertisers can quickly grab the latest banners and text links and post onto their site. The create links page is also a good place to mention the basics about your program and your company. It’s a quick reference guide for anyone interested in joining who has not yet applied. Examples can be your take on Trademark bidding, what your rev share offer is, and importantly what your company is all about and how publishers will benefit being partnered with you. To change or to update your create links page you can access this through the customize affiliate interface link on your homepage and then the Create Links section.
Text and Banners An up to date link page is another way to highlight the promotions you are currently running and to ensure every publisher is on the same page. This is helpful when you run a site audit to ensure the latest promotions are posted and old and expired links are tucked away. Each time you run a new set of banners or text ads by un-clicking the assign to all button on old placements will ensure the ad is not available for publishers to use. (The promotions will still remain in your list of offers until you actively delete them.)
Site Audits A final step to ensure creative is up to date is to periodically run through your top set of publishers for the current month or previous month/weeks. Any publisher site that does not show your current promotions is an opportunity to discuss the promotions and how you can best optimize for better placement or your promotional calendar.
