New Widgets That Put Your Merchandiser Products to Work

We’ve just developed two new product widgets to help you increase the distribution of your product links.
First, we’re pleased to announce new integration with Widgetbox, the leading self-service web widget platform. Widgets are mini, portable-applications that can be added to any web page. Widgetbox enables Publishers and marketers to efficiently create viral widgets compatible across the web.
Your Publishers will now be able to create custom, distributable, money-making widgets that display the products contained in your LinkShare Merchandiser file. Widgets provide shoppers with a more engaging shopping experience, therefore, helping your Publishers drive more revenue for you! LinkShare widgets display targeted products from single or multiple Advertisers. They are dynamically updated, which allows them to feature the freshest, most popular products. Below you’ll find a screenshot of an example Widgetbox widget, and you can see it live on our blog post and create your own here.
We’ve also launched a Google Gadget that your Publishers can use to display your products, as well as offer their customers a product search box. Using the gadget is simple and it only takes a few minutes to create. Publishers can customize some colors as well as the size of the gadget, and then copy the code and place it on their site. These new product widgets make it even more important that you offer your Publishers a LinkShare Merchandiser product feed and continue to optimize the product information in your feeds.
