LinkShare Image Serving
LinkShare supports several methods for banner serving:
- LinkShare
Banners may be served directly from LinkShare's servers. Simply upload an
image or provide a URL for the location of the banner. LinkShare will upload
the banner and give it a location on our servers.
If you choose LinkShare's image serving service, you can dynamically update
any banner across all of your affiliates directly via your merchant interface.
Using LinkShare's banner serving also allows affiliates to use your banners
in the rotating banner feature in their affiliate interface.
If you elect to use LinkShare's image serving service when you upload banners
into your Image Inventory, please note that the fees indicated in your contract
shall be applied. If you have any further questions about this service, please
contact your LinkShare representative.
- Merchant
Banners may also be served directly from your own servers. You will have to
provide the URL for the location of the banner on your servers.
- Third Party
If your banners are hosted by a third party, they can also be served directly
from the third party. Simply provide the URL for the location of the banner
on the third party's ad servers.
- Download by Site
You may also request all your affiliates to download your banner and serve
it directly on their own. Under this method, the affiliate is responsible
for downloading the banner, and uploading it to a location on their own servers.
