Join LinkShare International Networks
To join one or all of the LinkShare international Networks, please select the description below that best fits your affiliate program for detailed registration instructions. Please note - your LinkShare affiliate payments will be paid based on the currency of your Legal Entity country.
- YourSite.com is a LinkShare US Network affiliate and has US, Canada and UK consumers that go through YourSite.com. Click here for instructions on how to add LinkShare Networks to your existing channels.
- YourSite.com is a LinkShare US Network affiliate, but also runs a site called YourSite.co.uk just for UK consumers. A new affiliate channel should be created within the YourSite.com legal entity specifically for YourSite.co.uk. Click here to view instructions on how to create a new channel within your legal entity.
- YourSite.com is a LinkShare US Network affiliate, but also has a separate business unit (separate legal entity) run in the UK called YourSite.co.uk. Because YourSite.co.uk is run separately in the UK and has a different tax ID from their US Network legal entity, YourSite.co.uk should create a new legal entity. Click here to view directions.
- YourSite.com is not a LinkShare Network affiliate. Click here to view the directions to create a new legal entity.
If you are already an existing LinkShare Network affiliate, please follow the steps below to add other LinkShare Networks to your channel(s):
- Log into your account on www.linkshare.com and choose the Your Account tab.
- Click on Update Profile.
- Select your Legal Entity under the Channel Manager on the left. Your Legal Entity has a gray icon next to it and is listed at the top of the Channel Manager.
- Scroll down to Manage Participating Networks and click on the "Manage" button.
- Choose the UK Network, enter your banking information, and hit "Update."
- After you receive the Updated Successfully message, choose your channel (grey box with the blue bar on top) to update the Web Site Network for your channel.
- Scroll down to Web Site Network.
- Check the box next to the UK Network, and hit "Update."
- To manage your affiliate program in the other LinkShare Networks, use the drop down menu in the upper left section of the LinkShare affiliate interface, and select the LinkShare Network to Join Programs, Create Links, and Run Reports.
- Remember affiliate payments will be paid based on the currency of your legal entity country. For example, if your legal entity is registered with a US address, your LinkShare UK and Canada Network commissions will be paid in US dollars, not pounds or Canadian dollars.
Because you are working with different websites for each LinkShare Network, it is recommended that you create a new channel within your legal entity for each Network. Keep in mind that if you set up multiple channels you will have to re-apply to merchant programs for each specific channel.
- Log into your LinkShare Affiliate Account.
- Click on the Your Account tab in the Affiliate Interface.
- Click Update Profile on the left side of the page.
- Select your Legal Entity under the Channel Manager on the left. Your Legal Entity has a gray icon next to it and is listed at the top of the Channel Manager.
- Scroll down to Manage Participating Networks and click on the "Manage" button.
- Choose the LinkShare Network(s) you want to join and hit Update at the bottom of the screen. If joining the UK Network, you will need to enter your banking information.
- After you receive the Updated Successfully message, click on your Legal Entity name on the left under Channel Manager.
- Scroll down to the Create Channel section and click on Create New.
- Fill in the details for your new Channel and in the Web Site Network section, click on the check box next to the LinkShare Network(s) you wish to join. You can check multiple Networks if your new channel will be working with merchants in the other LinkShare Networks.
- Hit Update at the bottom of the page.
- To manage your different affiliate channels, use the drop down menu at the top of the Affiliate Interface to select your channel to Join Programs, Create Links, and Run Reports.
- Affiliate payments will be paid based on the currency of your legal entity country. For example, if your legal entity is registered with a US address, your LinkShare UK Network commissions will be paid in dollars, not pounds.
If you run your UK and/or Canada affiliate program as a separate business unit (separate legal entity) from your other LinkShare Network affiliate programs or you are not currently a LinkShare affiliate follow these steps to register a new legal entity. You cannot register a new legal entity using the same tax ID as another LinkShare affiliate legal entity.
- Go to www.linkshare.com, select "Join Now"
- Entity Type - be sure to indicate that you are a "Foreign" account if you are located outside of the US.
- Entity Registration - follow the prompts and enter your affiliate program information.
- Terms and Conditions - review and accept the agreement.
- Tax Form - this is where you will be asked about VAT and other applicable tax forms.
- Affiliate payments will be paid based on the currency of your legal entity country. For example, if you need to be paid in pounds, your legal entity address must be in the UK.
