PRODUCT UPDATE | NOVEMBER 2007

Flex Links (Beta): Video, Widgets & More

We invite you to test a new, easy to use link type which is now compatible with video and other forms of rich media, without any additional fee. Flex Links uses an HTML wrapper to convert your links embedded in virtually any kind of object into tracking links for your partners. You can now easily track clicks originating from a video, widget, Flash, or any other kind of clickable object using Flex Links.

When you login to your account, you will see a new option in your Links/Merchandising area called Flex Links. Use this interface to enable your video and other rich media creative. Your publisher partners will be able to simply copy and paste the code for your Flex Links and place them on their webpage.

This new link type does not replace DRM. You should still use DRM for rich media creative that will need to be automatically swapped out or updated on the fly dynamically across all your publisher sites.

Link Locator 2.0: A more flexible web service

Link Locator is an XML data feed that provides your publishers access to updated promotions and products without having to login to their account and manually create links. We’ve enhanced this web service by:

• Allowing access to all available links, not just text and banner
• Supporting both REST and SOAP web service calls
• Now, instead of six pre-defined promotion categories, you can name your creative in any way you’d like and publishers can access your links using web service calls
