Summary Description:

Serve as the primary point of contact at LinkShare for our top 100+ clients. This person will have ultimate responsibility for day-to-day management of their client programs/portfolio. Will work closely with the client team to set program strategy, obtain necessary client approvals, and ensure that all client requirements and business goals are well defined and achieved. Will also ensure that all client requests or needs are addressed in a timely manner. The Account Manager has ultimate responsibility for client satisfaction and the achievement of client and LinkShare revenue goals.

Responsibilities & Experience:
Candidate will have a minimum of 4-6 years experience in sales, account management and marketing-related functions. Successful candidates may bring experience from an agency, client, or consulting environment. Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree a plus.

  • Marketing: Experience developing and implementing a number of marketing functions including campaign management, channel management, product merchandising, marketing communications, direct response, plan development, creative optimization, market research.
  • Consulting: Experience as a third-party or outsource provider of expertise, products, and/or marketing services to a variety of end-users and industry sectors.
  • Relationship Management: Experience setting and managing customer expectations. On-time delivery of performance goals achieved within budget. Senior-level management interaction.
  • Analytical Skills: Experience with qualitative and quantitative analysis of marketing program results including recommendations for strategic and/or tactical changes.
  • Technical Abilities: Must be able to quickly develop facility with proprietary software to review campaigns and report results. Solid proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint for client-ready reports and presentations.
  • Sales/Business Development: Experience in any sales capacity-inside, direct, online, etc. that has developed the ability to identify needs, showcase benefits, overcome objections and close business.
  • Communication Skills: Exemplary written and oral communication skills. Significant experience developing and delivering presentations.

Marketing Analyst (UK)

Summary Description:

Evaluate program performance to help develop and update client and LinkShare goals and objectives. This person will support analysis needs of LinkShare account teams:

  • Work with Account Managers to review historical performance and recommend activities supporting program strategy.
  • Ensure that all client requests or needs are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Responsibility for the achievement of client and LinkShare revenue goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor monthly performance of key clients and identify trends.  Perform further analysis to understand root cause of trends.
  • Identify and analyze underperforming clients to understand and review causes with Account Managers.
  • Guide Account Management on promotion setup to ensure effective post-program measurements.
  • Analyze the performance of various marketing campaigns (promotions, acquisition strategies, merchandising tactics). Share key learnings.
  • Analyze merchant compensation structures – baseline and private offers. Suggest optimization strategies.
  • Analyze merchants’ affiliate bases and recommend segmentation strategies. Analyze segment performance over time and provide Account Manager with findings to refine segments.
  • Analyze creative performance and provide Account Manager with actionable insights.
  • Provide metrics and program analysis for Account Reviews and monthly program Trend Cards.
  • Assist Director with monthly department metrics process

Employment Standards

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 2-5 years experience in direct marketing analytics.

Marketing Communications Specialist (UK)

Summary Description:

The Marketing Communications Specialist will optimize program effectiveness by developing merchant and affiliate communications including emails, newsletters, auto-reply emails, promotional communications, affiliate recruitment emails, and phone scripts. Will also design HTML newsletters and interface templates and customize and brand client touchpoints within the affiliate interface. The Marketing Communications Specialist will ensure that all client and internal requests or needs are addressed in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop all merchant specific communications including emails, newsletters, auto-reply emails, promotional communications, recruitment emails and phone scripts.
  • Develop email content
    o Support acquisitions, activation, and strategic merchandising strategies
    o Support email campaigns
  • Coordinate with merchant and affiliate analysts to optimize performance of communications
  • Develop merchant HTML newsletter and interface templates (i.e. Create Links, Offer Description, etc)
  • Customize merchant touch points in the affiliate interface
  • Support services department with HTML programming requests
  • Build and maintain communications best practices library (newsletters, promotional emails, auto-reply emails, touchpoints, etc.)
  • Create and disseminate Affiliate Newsletters
  • Create and disseminate LinkShare announcements to client base

Employment Standards

Required Skills and Experience:

Candidate will have 2-6 years experience in marketing communications, preferably in interactive marketing. Successful candidates may bring experience from an agency, client, or consulting environment. Bachelors degree required.

  • Communication Skills: Strong copywriting skills. Proven ability to craft a concise message to targeted and mass audiences. Ability to adapting communication to medium (emails, websites, presentations, etc) Experience writing strong call to action.
  • Design Skills:  Experience with newsletter, email, and website creation and layout.  Knowledge of best performing/converting designs.   Ability to incorporate brand effectively.
  • Technical Abilities: Expertise in HTML and web technologies. Proficiency in Powerpoint. Must be able to quickly develop facility with proprietary software.
  • Marketing: Preference for direct or online marketing experience. Experience basing design and communication decisions on marketing analytics. Experience with creative testing for optimized return.
  • Project Management Skills: Ability to prioritize work, set expectations, and meet deadlines. Ability to multi-task and produce consistent, quality work on time and within budget. Creative approach to solve problems. Professional judgment.
  • Relationship Management: Experience setting and managing internal customer expectations. On-time delivery of performance goals achieved within budget. Ability to interact effectively with Account Management, Client Services, and other internal teams regarding communications.
