The Director of Network Development will own the relationship with our network of publisher websites. This position will build, manage, grow and support an advertising network, develop and implement reporting, and develop strategies and execute on ideas to meet the demands of the network.
Do it all in our Union Square headquarters – the Greenmarket, seven subway lines and statues of George Washington, Abe Lincoln, the Marquis de Lafayette and Gandhi means it’s the nexus of the universe. Or at least of downtown New York.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the relationships with all of our online media publishers/affiliates.
- Provide insight into growing revenue for all parties (publishers, advertisers, Linkshare) by fully understanding our distribution network,
- Ensure that wherever there is web inventory, we effectively present opportunities with LinkShare clients
- Monitor, evaluate, and execute strategies to aggressively grow the network and ensure increased ROI for our partners
- Guarantee that all internal team and network KPIs are aggressively set and met
- Manage, mentor, & coach a team of driven, high achieving, talented individuals
- Work cross functionally with Advertiser & Product/Technology teams to create and streamline processes to most effectively manage the network
Requirements:
- 7+ years experience in online media (corporate or agency environment);
- Understanding of online advertising and basic marketing campaign development, including CPA, Co-Registration, email, display and search marketing
- Knowledge of major affiliates and affiliate networks in the marketplace
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to compile and analyze performance data and metrics.
- Strong negotiation skills
- Shown yourself to be a self-starter with an entrepreneurial drive and spirit
- Experience developing and communicating financial models and forecasts
- The flexibility to accommodate evolving responsibilities and last minute changes
- Superb decision-making, organizational, planning and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Excellent project-management and time-management skills
- Worked well independently and within a team environment
- Above average proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience using Salesforce.com
