Account Manager (Chicago and NY)

Summary Description:

The Account Manager will have ultimate responsibility for managing a portfolio of merchants within the LinkShare network. Manage the day-to-day aspects of program execution and will design the overall strategy for growing account revenue. Specifically, the Account Manager will oversee all program implementation by developing and tracking the client project plans and coordinating all activities with the direct account team and other LinkShare inter-departmental and cross-functional resources (Technology, Accounting, Marketing, Operations, etc.). This position reports to the Director of Marketing Services.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing consultative marketing support and guidance to an assigned group of LinkShare's clients.
  • Interacting daily with clients via phone and email contact, to support tactical requests.
  • Setting, meeting, and exceeding aggressive revenue goals for each assigned client.
  • Providing strategic advice in order to increase each client's ROI.
  • Developing, maintaining, and extending relationships with LinkShare's clients.
  • Managing internal resources to ensure that LinkShare delivers results for each client.
  • Learning and understanding the full capabilities of LinkShare SynergyTM software and supporting clients' use of the tools available to them through the software.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • One to three years of direct marketing experience with a focus on client service.
  • Demonstrated success in measuring results and setting, meeting, and exceeding aggressive, quantitative goals.
  • Analytical and strategic marketing skills.
  • The ability to prioritize and strategize based on corporate goals.
  • The desire and ability to think creatively, solve problems, and use professional judgment.

Distribution Services Specialist (New York)

Summary Description:

Manage relationships between LinkShare clients and our network of sites across the internet. The Distribution Services Specialist (DSS) will learn about business models of Fortune 500 clients and of entrepreneurs in our network, and you’ll be making connections happen between the two.

The DSS will have ultimate responsibility for promoting our portfolio of merchants to affiliate partners in the LinkShare network. Through phone and email outreach, the DSS will create new and optimized partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute effective partnership sales strategies and tactics.
  • Utilize effective phone/email outreach, sales and negotiation skills to create new and optimize existing partnerships within the Network.
  • Become an expert on a specific set of merchants to be able to convey the benefits of partnership to an affiliate partner.
  • Develop, maintain, and extend relationships with shared portfolio of online affiliate partners. Strategically approach selling in relationships with distribution partners.
  • Act as the “voice” of partners to our merchant portfolio.
  • Work with cross-functional teammates to resolve issues and grow revenue.
  • Learn and understand the full capabilities of the LinkShare Synergy™ software and educate partners to use the tools available to them through the software.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Either 1-2 years inside or outside sales experience or 1-2 years of Account Management or Sales experience.

Job Description:

The Marketing Communications Specialist will optimize online marketing campaign effectiveness for LinkShare advertisers through development of affiliate communications including emails, newsletters, promotional communications, and user interface communication vehicles. Responsibilities:

  • Develop all advertiser and campaign specific communications including emails, newsletters, promotional communications, and interface communication vehicles (for publishers).
  • Design (HTML) and develop copy for all communication channels
  • Support client services department with HTML programming requests
  • Create and disseminate LinkShare Network communications for Advertisers and Publishers
  • Develop banner creative and text links for LinkShare Advertiser campaigns
Required Skills and Experience:
Candidate will have at least 2 years experience in marketing communications with HTML design and copywriting experience, preferably in interactive marketing. Bachelors degree required.
  • Strong copywriting skills. Proven ability to craft a concise message to targeted and mass audiences. Able to adapt communication to medium (emails, websites, presentations, etc). Experience developing strong call to action.
  • Experience with newsletter, email, and website creation and layout. Knowledge of best performing/converting designs. Ability to incorporate brand effectively.

Summary Description:
The Marketing Coordinator serves as support for program management of client affiliate programs. The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for timely and satisfactory execution of administration of client programs, contributing to client satisfaction and the achievement of client and LinkShare revenue goals.
Responsibilities:

  • Monitor affiliate queues to ensure timely queue management by Affiliate Reviewers

Senior Account Manager (Chicago & New York)

Summary Description:

Serve as the primary point of contact at LinkShare for our clients. This person will have ultimate responsibility for day-to-day management of their client programs/portfolio. The Senior Account Manager will work closely with the client team to set program strategy, obtain necessary client approvals, and ensure that all client requirements and business goals are well defined and achieved. The Senior Account Manager will also ensure that all client requests or needs are addressed in a timely manner. The Senior Account Manager has ultimate responsibility for client satisfaction and the achievement of client and LinkShare revenue goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for day-to-day management and execution of client programs
  • Build strong client relationships at all levels of client organization to ensure positive overall perception of LinkShare
  • Manage client relationship and serve as primary client interface to organization; obtain and manage necessary client inputs and approvals.
  • Upsell clients on additional products or services
  • Own revenue forecasting process for portfolio of clients (w/ Analyst support)
  • Manage portfolio to 100%+ of revenue goal by reviewing weekly MTD revenue vs. goal, working with Analyst to understand root causes, and putting recovery plans in place
  • Lead monthly client calls and quarterly client visits to review top-line program performance and marketing strategy
  • Hold weekly meetings with team members to review client program performance, marketing strategy, and status of execution vs. planned marketing tactics
  • Work with client to set program goals. Communicate program performance to client.
  • Achieve average client satisfaction score of 4.0 or higher every month with 100% of merchants responding
  • Retain 100% of clients upon contract renewal

Required Skills & Experience:

Candidate will have a minimum of 4-6 years experience in sales, account management and marketing-related functions. Successful candidates may bring experience from an agency, client, or consulting environment. Bachelors degree required, advanced degrees a plus.

  • Marketing: Experience developing and implementing a number of marketing functions including campaign management, channel management, product merchandising, marketing communications, direct response, plan development, creative optimization, market research.
  • Consulting: Experience as a third-party or outsource provider of expertise, products, and/or marketing services to a variety of end-users and industry sectors.
