Summary Description:
The Client Development Sales Manager will be accountable for selling the LinkShare performance-based marketing solution to new clients, development of additional revenue sources with existing clients and maintaining excellent business relations both externally and internally.
Responsibilities include:
- Meet or exceed all sales and revenue targets
- Identify, analyze, contact and solidify new partnerships within marketplace for new business opportunities
- Ability to procure major accounts in timely sales cycle while maintaining active and results driven pipeline
- Represent LinkShare at trade shows, seminars, and other industry events
- Effectively manage a sales territory
- Provide Sales Management with detailed analysis, sales strategies, and recommendations
- Ability to formulate and present detailed major account presentations
Requirements:
- A minimum of 7 years outside selling experience
- A proven track record of success in a consultative and solutions selling environment
- Strong computer skills
- Experience in selling software solutions to upper level management contacts (VP of Marketing or comparable a plus) at Fortune 500/1000 companies
- Knowledge of eCommerce and the Web
- Experience negotiating legal contracts and/or agreements

Summary Description:
Under the direction of the Director and/or VP of Client Development, the Sales Specialist will be responsible for selling Merchant partners an Affiliate Marketing Solution. The Sales Specialist will be selling LinkShare’s unique “Exchange” Solution that enables partner’s full access to the LinkShare Network and basic internal support. Through aggressive phone and email outreach, the Sales Specialist will be responsible for generating new sales leads in addition to converting leads into new clients. The benefit for the new merchant partner, in addition to full access of LinkShare’s Technology, Software Tools, Database of Distribution Partners and support, will be to help them develop a new customer acquisition and online sales channel.
Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed all sales targets
- Analyze markets for new business opportunities, generate leads and create new partnerships for the LinkShare Network
- Assist new partners in the development of LinkShare merchant partnerships
- Represent LinkShare at trade shows, seminars, and other industry events
- Ability to formulate and present sales presentations
- Know and understand the full capabilities of the LinkShare Synergy™ software and educate partners to use the tools available to them through the software
- Stay on top of LinkShare’s competitive landscape and work to maintain LinkShare’s top rated position
Employment Standards
Required Skills and Experience:
- 2+ years inside or outside sales experience
- A proven track record of success in a consultative selling environment
- Experience in selling marketing or advertising solutions, preferably in the internet or e-commerce space
- Exemplary written and oral communication skills. Experience developing and delivering presentations
- Strong computer skills and an understanding of the e-commerce space
- Online industry experience a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree required
