Summary Description:
The Client Development Sales Manager will be accountable for selling the LinkShare performance-based marketing solution to new clients, development of additional revenue sources with existing clients and maintaining excellent business relations both externally and internally.
Responsibilities include:
- Meet or exceed all sales and revenue targets
- Identify, analyze, contact and solidify new partnerships within marketplace for new business opportunities
- Ability to procure major accounts in timely sales cycle while maintaining active and results driven pipeline
- Represent LinkShare at trade shows, seminars, and other industry events
- Effectively manage a sales territory
- Provide Sales Management with detailed analysis, sales strategies, and recommendations
- Ability to formulate and present detailed major account presentations
Employment Standards
Required Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of 7 years outside selling experience
- A proven track record of success in a consultative and solutions selling environment
- Strong computer skills
- Experience in selling software solutions to upper level management contacts (VP of Marketing or comparable a plus) at Fortune 500/1000 companies
- Knowledge of eCommerce and the Web
- Experience negotiating legal contracts and/or agreements

Client Dev Manager - Lead Generation
Summary Description:
The Client Development Manager will join our fast-growing Lead Generation Team, and be responsible for selling the LinkShare Lead Advantage marketing solution to Advertisers. The CDM’s initial focus will be to build out a client roster within the insurance vertical and will focus on insurance (auto, health, life) carriers. As Lead Advantage is a relatively new and growing business, the CDM should also be able to contribute strategic insight into ways to develop the Lead Advantage and its capabilities so as to achieve better results for our Advertisers.
Responsibilities include:
- Identify, analyze, contact and solidify new partnerships within marketplace for new business opportunities
- Ability to procure major accounts in timely sales cycle while maintaining active and results driven pipeline
- Effectively manage Insurance vertical; contribute ideas to help Lead Advantage improve its capabilities for insurance clients
- Meet or exceed all sales and revenue targets
- Coordinate with marketing to develop appropriate sales materials
- Provide Sales Management with detailed analysis, sales strategies, and recommendations
- Represent LinkShare at trade shows, seminars, and other industry events
- Ability to formulate and present detailed major account presentations

- Experience selling online lead generation services
- Strong computer skills
- Experience in selling software solutions to upper level management contacts (VP of Marketing or comparable a plus) at Internet Retailer 500 companies, Fortune 500/1000 companies
- Knowledge of eCommerce and the Web
- Experience negotiating legal contracts and/or agreements
