Summary Description:
The Account Manager will have ultimate responsibility for managing a portfolio of merchants within the LinkShare network. Manage the day-to-day aspects of program execution and will design the overall strategy for growing account revenue. Specifically, the Account Manager will oversee all program implementation by developing and tracking the client project plans and coordinating all activities with the direct account team and other LinkShare inter-departmental and cross-functional resources (Technology, Accounting, Marketing, Operations, etc.).
Responsibilities:
- Providing consultative marketing support and guidance to an assigned group of LinkShare's clients
- Interacting daily with clients via phone and email contact, to support tactical requests
- Setting, meeting, and exceeding aggressive revenue goals for each assigned client
- Providing strategic advice in order to increase each client's ROI.
- Developing, maintaining, and extending relationships with LinkShare's clients
- Managing internal resources to ensure that LinkShare delivers results for each client
- Learning and understanding the full capabilities of LinkShare SynergyTM software and supporting clients' use of the tools available to them through the software
Required Skills and Experience:
- 1-3 years of direct marketing experience with a focus on client service
- Demonstrated success in measuring results and setting, meeting, and exceeding aggressive, quantitative goals
- Analytical and strategic marketing skills
- The ability to prioritize and strategize based on corporate goals
- The desire and ability to think creatively, solve problems, and use professional judgment
- An understanding of and interest in technology, including HTML
- Exemplary written and oral communication skills, plus strong presentation skills
- Expertise in MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Bachelor’s Degree required
Business Development Manager
Summary Description:
Will be accountable for selling the LinkShare Network and its performance based advertising opportunities to new online distribution partners in the UK market. Will be responsible for generating and cultivating leads for high potential distribution partners, convincing them to join the LinkShare Network, negotiating our partner agreement, and helping them develop initial LinkShare merchant partnerships. Will also manage top partner relationships once they join the network, helping them to create partnerships with LinkShare merchants.
Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed all sales targets
- Analyze markets for new business opportunities, generate leads and create new partnerships for the LinkShare Network
- Negotiate legal agreements
- Manage relationships with top partners and assist them in the development of LinkShare merchant partnerships
- Represent LinkShare at trade shows, seminars, and other industry events
- Formulate and present sales presentations
- Know and understand the full capabilities of the LinkShare Synergy™ software and educate partners to use the tools available to them through the software
- Stay on top of LinkShare’s competitive landscape in the UK market
Employment Standards
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years inside or outside sales experience. Account Management experience a plus
- A proven track record of success in a consultative selling environment
- Experience in selling marketing or advertising solutions in the internet or e-commerce space. Experience in the UK affiliate industry a plus
- Experience negotiating contracts and/or agreements
- Exemplary written and oral communication skills. Experience developing and delivering presentations
- Strong computer skills and an understanding of the e-commerce space

Marketing Communications Specialist
Summary Description:
The Marketing Communications Specialist role is multi-functional, with majority focus on HTML e-Mail communications and internal/external client relationships. The Marketing Communications Specialist will work with clients (Account Managers) to optimise their communication offering and improve levels of acquisition and activation across the portfolio. Will work with Marketing to develop a Communications Calendar, will keep team informed of upcoming communications, will collect and organise information and create network-wide HTML newsletters regularly. Will keep sections of website and Help Centre up to date with news and relevant information. Will be central to all communication during new client launch phase, is main point of contact for clients, leads calls, provides information and assistance, expedites processes, improves client experience/satisfaction. Will be main point of contact for Creative Services.
Responsibilities include:
- Working with Account Managers to create, test and send HTML newsletters on behalf of LinkShare advertisers
- Working with Marketing to create, test and send HTML newsletters network-wide on behalf of LinkShare UK
- Working across the team (Sales, Tech, Marketing, Account Managers and Network Development) to manage/coordinate new client activation/launch, ensuring that clients launch quickly
- Liaising with the Creative Services team & clients regarding Creative Services queries and requests
- Maintaining/updating sections of the .co.uk website & Help Centre.
- Maintaining the UK Communications Calendar, working with Marketing to direct annual communication strategy
Employment Standards
Required Skills and Experience:
Candidate will have 2-6 years experience in marketing communications, preferably in interactive marketing. Successful candidates may bring experience from an agency, client, or consulting environment. Bachelors degree required.
- Communication Skills: Strong copywriting skills. Proven ability to craft a concise message to targeted and mass audiences. Ability to adapting communication to medium (emails, websites, presentations, etc) Experience writing strong call to action.
- Design Skills: Experience with newsletter, email, and website creation and layout. Knowledge of best performing/converting designs. Ability to incorporate brand effectively.
- Technical Abilities: Expertise in HTML and web technologies. Proficiency in Powerpoint. Must be able to quickly develop facility with proprietary software.
- Marketing: Preference for direct or online marketing experience. Experience basing design and communication decisions on marketing analytics. Experience with creative testing for optimized return.
- Project Management Skills: Ability to prioritize work, set expectations, and meet deadlines. Ability to multi-task and produce consistent, quality work on time and within budget. Creative approach to solve problems. Professional judgment.
- Relationship Management: Experience setting and managing internal customer expectations. On-time delivery of performance goals achieved within budget. Ability to interact effectively with Account Management, Client Services, and other internal teams regarding communications.
